I'm just starting out with SNGs and wondered if anybody wanted to help point me in the right direction.

Have played ish 150 games of $1.50 9 and 6-max reg speed, and have an roi of 10% (I do know this is nowhere near a sample)

Feel like i struggle alot with both bubble play and HU.
I tought i would take it a little seriously and downloaded a tracking software a little in to my 150 games so it has only tracked 99
It shows i have bubbled 14 of 99 and have lost 22 out of my 34 HUs

It has been a little swingy, but with being HU over 1/3 of the time i play i know that i can make these games my bitch if i can get a grip on my HU an bubble play.

So these are my questions to you, lovely 2+2.
What would be a decent ROI% be in these games?
What is a good ITM%?
Any advice or any good books to help with my bubble and HU (mostly HU)
Any more software than PT4 that i may need?
Thank you.

I've started using Icmizer it has a great little software to help study icm and bubble play called sit n go coach, it gives you 120 questions a day and has a wide range of questions.

For books I'd recommend these titles from Collin Moshman

Sit N Go Strategy
Heads Up No Limit Holdem

For software suggestions look in this thread

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/36...collection-50/

Personally I use
Pokerstove
Equilab
ICMizer
SitnGo Wizard

Others may have different preferences/suggestions

I play 9man turbos so don't know the ROI/ITM expectations for 6man

Icmizer will help you solve your bubble problem in no time, especially at those stakes. Answer all 120 quiz questions each day and you should be beating those games fairly soon. Can't really give you advice on the ROI/ITM. Good luck.

Idk. But considering the high rake, 10% is probably very decent. With that said 150 is no sample at all.

Its hard to answer this one because it also depends on your 1st/2nd/3rd distribution. You need something like 36% to beat the rake assuming even distribution.

icmizer should def be youre first invesment

followed by flopzilla...and get someone to guide you thru the learning process of using it

preflop and icmizer are key for you ATM, but if you want to improve to a meaningful level you need a good postflop understanding

Has anyone here used both ICM Trainer (free) and ICMIZER SnG Coach? Can you highlight some of the big differences? Is it worth springing for SnG Coach?

like most questions on this forum, its too vague

and the answer as always is, it depends

it depends on:

how much you know about icm already
how often do you play
what stakes do you play
or just how much money you have in general and does purchasing it affect you

...i personally think its good but it has its draw back...the ranges it assigns villains are nash ranges and are not realistic calling/shoving ranges people have
so you really have to change all the ranges youre self witch kind of affects the whole point
