Re: $indabank111 and Bigbluffzinc

Hello,

I would like to take this opportunity to clarify PokerStars policy and the explain the actions that were taken in this case.

We were contacted by '$indabank111' on 28th May. A copy of the email was earlier posted in this thread. As a resolution to that email, the playing restriction covering both accounts was removed. We can confirm that this action was carried out in error. The playing restriction on both '$indabank111' and 'bigbluffzinc' has now been reapplied.

PokerStars policy on players with financial agreements between each other playing with each other can be found at:
http://www.pokerstars.com/poker/room/policies/

Point 9 states:
If you are involved in staking, swaps, profit-sharing, or any kind of bankroll sharing agreement with another player, you may not play at the same cash game table or in the same Sit & Go tournament as that player.

We would like to reiterate that this rule is still in effect and PokerStars will continue enforcement. Please accept our apologies for the error and any subsequent confusion that was caused in this case.

If any poster has further questions on this case, or any related queries/concerns, please feel free to contact me at
support@pokerstars.com.

Kind Regards,

Jim

Just to be clear Jim, does "Sit & Go tournament" in Point 9 include any MTT Sit & Go tournaments?

Re: $indabank111 and Bigbluffzinc

Received the following e-mail this morning. I obviously was cooperative and informed them of my stakes.

We would appreciate if you could please reply to this email stating if you have staking agreements with other players on PokerStars and if you do, please could you list those players.

Please understand that by making this request, we are not accusing you of any wrong doing, merely that we are seeking to enforce one of our Card Room Rules.

We look forward to hearing back from you shortly.

I'm not sure on this...but I heard it must be "over 36 people" in the game for it to be ok.

Re: $indabank111 and Bigbluffzinc

I got a PM from a certain mod, as well as an e-mail back from Stars security saying, "the rule applies to 3-45 player SnGs..."

Guess some people already knew that but I'd never heard.

Re: $indabank111 and Bigbluffzinc

I def wouldnt be comfortable playgin a 3m sng vs two players in staking relationship...

Didnt know the rules were that strict. This is gonna have some effect on the games if followed and/or enforced.
