Yeah but seriously there's nothing wrong with the amount you're in the money. Try what I suggest: get a bit more aggressive sixhanded or so. Open more pots, 3bet a bit wider, shove a lot more.
I'm suggesting this because I suspect you are getting ITM with a relatively small stack a lot of the time. Then, almost regardless how you play, you are going to have disappointing results because the disadvantage is hard to overturn. Also, while people say "play more aggressively on the bubble", the bubble becomes much easier to navigate with a bigger stack. You can be selective (a very good thing) rather than wild (not so good but better than just blinding off).
