SB wins 348,000

On the flop I def could've cbet, but I thought I'd check and I can still win even though I check. But maybe should've cbet.

On the turn I thought I'd rep a jack and get weak pairs to fold, and also I could have the best hand and I could win the pot right there.

On the river I thought he maybe has a weak pair or a jack with a weakish kicker. But I mean he needs to have those AND fold about 60% of the time as opposed to flushes for my shove to be profitable, so prolly a spew and I should just check it back? I am repping the flush obv, which I could def have when taking this line. It would be better to have the ace of spades in my hand though (or queen of spades).

In my opinion it's either a shove or check on the river because if I bet smaller, he will start calling me with a jack pretty often IMO.

I think up until the turn is reasonable. However my choice is usually to CBet flop when I have a backdoor draw and check back when you just have naked overcards. The backdoor draws allow you to keep barrelling more often.

As played when they call your turn bet they're not just going to be randomly floating, so they'll have Jx, 9x or some sort of draw.

You beat the straight draws so you could just check for SDV vs these.

You don't block any of his flush draws so he's going to be showing up with those quite often.

Your river bet sizing is very polarising between flush and nothing because you wouldn't play Jx like this. Therefore I don't think you're going to get enough Jx to fold and you might not even get random 9x or 88/77 to fold against some villains.

I probably would have C-bet the flop, and I don't hate stabbing at the turn.

I don't like the shove on the river with the 3rd spade falling. Since you were repping the jack on the turn, you should consider that a call from the villain on the turn is either repping a jack as well or a flush draw. Since you have neither, you have to rep the flush. While you can do this, as you said it is better to do it with the Ace in your hand. Neither you or BB (likely) had any spades in your hand to block a flush, so it makes the bluff riskier.

I would have c-bet the flop. As played, I check back on the river. Just my $.02.
