Re: Fifty50 strat/RoI Discussion

got 9k hands on u.

winning (chips) = -$2.5k
EV adjusted (chips) = -$6k

So basically in games u play with me, you run pretty much even, maybe slightly good.

Again, this is not a vs me stat. its just games i was playing in with you, even if we didnt face off in that game

I vote for no restrictions, or make a higher limit, min. 10-15 tables.

Who were bothered by the flooded lobby, and why is it a problem?
If i want to play on $100 stakes, i just filter it, and sort by the number of players enrolled there. The games on the top will start first, it's so easy. You don't have to deal with the other 30 generated tables.
There was a lot of clamoring in this thread for it

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/36...stars-1153760/

Really not much dissent, I don't completely get it either and tried to mention a potential compromise where there is a default filter of 4 tables showing for every player that you could turn off so you could mass register(mentioned in more detail there). That idea however fell on deaf ears and didn't even garner a response from the rep (despite bringing it up for a 2nd time asking simply for a response on the idea). If you guys don't like these changes I suggest you speak up there as it doesn't appear Walmsley is following this thread.

Yeah the lobby held no problems at all for me and wa ssurprised they changed it. I'm actually dealing with it better than expected but it was still easier with no limits. I did complain about it and was hoping a few high rakers would.

Re: Fifty50 strat/RoI Discussion

Had this hand come up earlier today and thought it was interesting. What would your calling range be here? And what range would you give MP and CO. UTG will be all in in the BB next hand:

Poker Stars No Limit Hold'em Tournament - t200.00/t400.00 Blinds - 7 players - View hand 1636233
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

SB: t1200.00 3 BBs
Hero (BB): t1315.00 3.29 BBs
UTG: t295.00 0.74 BBs
UTG+1: t1960.00 4.90 BBs
MP: t1060.00 2.65 BBs
CO: t6120.00 15.30 BBs
BTN: t3050.00 7.62 BBs

Pre Flop: (t600) Hero is BB with 9 9
2 folds, MP raises to t1010, CO raises to t6070, 2 folds, Hero ?

Re: Fifty50 strat/RoI Discussion

What resource(book/video series/etc) do you think is best to read/watch for fifty50(even if the resource is not about f50)?

And does anybody know if the video Everything You Wanted To Know About Poker (But Were Afraid to Ask) DVD [from PokerStars VIP STORE -> New] for 1300FPP a good buy?

since UTG is extremely short, I'd call with QQ+

It mostly depends on who MP is but I would call TT+.

Re: Fifty50 strat/RoI Discussion

The problem with the STTs is that everyone at the mid-high stakes has beaten up ranges to death with ICM calcs so the games are played close to optimal in a Game Theoretic sense. So even if there is a fish now and then or someone who has leaks the rake takes care of that. The only reason to play them is if you are chasing a SNE or smth and relying on rakeback for profit.
also since stacks get so short so fast and most situations are fairly automatic its very bad for your development as a poker player.
