I am on PT4 so I don't remember what was available in PT3, but you should be able to set it up as a table stat (as opposed to a player stat)

If I want to color code my numbers. What would be the ranges? From which number on high, from which number on low? (STT 7-15$ buyins)

- Total steal
- Total fold to steal
- Total Fold to resteal
- Flop cbet
- Flop fold to cbet

So e.g. for total steal I have <20% low (=blue), 20-40% middle (=orange), >40% high (=red)

Would like to have your numbers/ranges for the above stats.

Thank you.

For most cases yes but at least the steal and cbet values can take into account sometimes. Can really noone tell me the ranges (between high to low) the corresponding values are for a good player?

This is now the first time i put free content, to bring some interesting ideas up, WHY HUD is very important, and how to value between 10-50 - 50 - 150 - 150 - 500 and plus 500 Hands.

First of all, it is more important to check the hands played before you check any other stat, it sets your mind right about how to value it, if it is 50 or 200 or 500 hands, the difference does not lay in the vpip, pfr, 3bet, f23bet etc, it is about the frequency. nothing else.

The stats show you a frequency, if you put this and the table dynamic in mind into your decision making, then you build up an edge. So what do i mean with keep in mind exactly? For example you see someone playing 45/33 with 10% 3bet on 50 Hands. So when you have a hand you would like to play, but you see this guy in the BB or SB, think about it that way. When you open, he is likely to play as well, to get more value out of your open adjust with a higher openraise, not the openraisefrequency, do not get me wrong, just the size of your opening.

So most of the players using a hud, do not use it the way it should be used. Looking at the stats without really keep in mind what it means regarding to hands played and tendency is basicly wrong and leads longterm to -ev decisions, even though they assume ..hey i use the hud, he was loose passive/active or whatever the stats "say" so i pushed my range and he called with ...i should have an edge. etc etc. Bull****, basicly they create an edge on you, because you use your hud like a morron!

I use for more proper decision always the popup, and start thinking about it at my hand analyse sessions, because ingame you should consider popup as one of your biggest edges over someone.

My advice, change displaying hud stats to at least 50 hands played, as this is the first tendency you can really take as consideration when deciding at the table. Well as long as you are not careful with your hud stats, you basicly donate money in the longrun.

Cheers

I noticed a lot of people saying they use AF as a HUD stat. Is there a certain threshold of this stat that may induce a certain style of play? In other words what kind of adjustments are recommended while using this stat?

At the moment I use vp/pr/cb/3b/foldto3b
Att steal/fcb/ftcb/fold riv

Perhaps I have a bit much to some but I'm interested in exploiting based on black and white data. Any info on AF would be appreciated.

AF=Aggression Factor iirc, dont quite know anymore what it calculates to get its number. I believe it was some mix and also considers something like bet sizes relative to pot.
Its best used in combination with AFq = Aggression Frequency = how often your opponents bet.

AF is a useless stat, won't make you 1c more.
