Reraise the flop to like 700. As played, reraise turn to 900. River is kinda tricky because he 3bets the turn, I think I like b/f to like 800. I think it is rare we will be c/r on this river by worse. I guess if he is really spazzy then maybe b/c is better, but its unlikely.

Re: Bottom Two Pair... Bet the river?

Thanks, yeah, the 3bet on the turn indicated a lot of strength to me as well.

Normally I would've raised him on the flop, but I thought the button might call (or raise in which case I would 3 bet all in), so I thought there was more value in calling. The flop was dry without a whole lotta draws there, (honestly 9T did not pop in my head until I saw the turn card).

Re: Bottom Two Pair... Bet the river?

yeah bet ~800 river

It's such a great board to slowplay, but 50/14 guy will have small leading range (Jx a lot) and always call raise on flop. If he seems more the type to lead a lot of gutters, 7x,3x, random stuff then I flat all day

Re: Bottom Two Pair... Bet the river?

Flop is dry is a good reason to raise, because BTN is less likely to want to come along than he would be on a wetter flop.

As played, just think about what you want to call you on the river and how likely it is that one of those hands is in his range. Then, make a bet size that gets that hand to call.

Re: Bottom Two Pair... Bet the river?

Because of his weird turn raise, checking the river might be a good idea.
