If you're sn you should buy the 100k fpp 1600 bonus. If not and they won't let you unreg from storm (prob just this week so they can meet guar) then I'd buy either big 11 tickets to play the hot 11 or 27 dollar step tix and play a MTT.

Since you're already in it you can keep playing the satties and get t dollars this week.

I always wondered if the bigs tickets are valid to other mtts with the same buy in. You confirm that Ruse?

Not for all of them. The big 55 works for the h55 and the b11 works for the h11 and possibly storm. Aside from that the bigs only work for bigs. The 27 and w/e step is 27 will work w any 27 MTT.

Ruse is an all-star poster in this subforum. Not trolling, not even a little bit.

70 fpp ht to 3,30$ tourneys -> yeah it takes 3x longer to clear your fpps but you should get more value and larger volume = smaller chance of running like crap. Clearing rate is still acceptable, like 7000 fpps per hour of 8. So in theory it would take only 35 hours a year to clear 250000 fpps - hitting SN mark as plat

i think i make like 0.018$/fpp or so

35 hours can be quite a bit of ev tho. Also you probably need to be willing to add them to your regular grind at times where you normally enjoy sparetime (I assume you work a dayjob), which can suck a lot.

of topic slightly

6 man normal and turbos really slow to fill up with current promos on other things.

So looking at these $18.75 and $12 6 max satalites. how can I tell by looking through lobby if you can cash out a satty qualification into tourney dollars. If it doesn't say is it best to assume you have to play the first one?

Equation is something like this, I think.

35 hours x your hourly vs $500 (extra 2 cents per FPP x 250,000 FPPs)

And that's assuming you're on the same skill level as dybboss which may or may not be true.

It's also about your risk attitudes.
If u can gain an ev playing those satties that guesstimated equates to your hourly ev in normal grind (assuming you have good estimates for both), than there's no point in playing unless you enjoy playing these more than doing other stuff which would be pretty sad.

my take on it was i never sacrificed playing for the sake of turning fpps into $. It was always my free time with beer in hand :P srsly if you arent on supernova pace or barely on supernova pace, one hour or 2 hours a month isnt that big of a sacrifice to get 'instant' rakeback instead of waiting entire year.

PS should offer a game type where you're required to have a beer in hand (and chug once per orbit)

I can't believe this is even a thread. You save them up to buy the Porsche Cayman S for 3,100,000 Fpp's. I don't see why you would do anything else.

I remember my girlfriend in college was largely unimpressed by the Porsche and said I should save for the Aston Martin (used to have one for 5,000,000 VPPs)
