CO shows JTo, a made straight. Turn and River are blanks and I go home.
What were my mistakes here? Should have bet more preflop, and should have bet more on the flop I guess?
3b bigger pre, flop bet is small, call or fold flop, jam is way too aggressive here. AK, AQ, KQ, AA, KK, QQ, JT are all well within villain's range. We're not getting calls from much Ax or any Kx and there are no draws to deny/charge for equity. We're only getting called by made hands here. Best case scenario we are drawing to 7 outs, we're usually in even worse shape than that.
I can see it being hard to find a fold here, but call and evaluate on the turn.
