How would you play this? Villain stats are
Vpip 13 Pfr 9 and aggersion factor 2,3 I have 251 hands on him

I have played poker for some time now but now I am starting to think about what I am doing, not just clicking buttons. Im trying to put him on a hand here.

Is it possible that his range is 77 to JJ KQs J9s? I assume that he would 3-bet pre with hands like AQs+ QQ+.

So my question here should I have called? Am I getting the right odds, Im getting around 2.2-2.3 to 1 on a call right? Then needing around 30% equity to call it profitable.

If I put these hands into equilab I am getting around 45% equity so I should have called?

The main reason for this post is to check if I am thinking this through right, am I calculating equity the right way, his range etc.

So please tell me your opinions, this is my first post here of many I hope. If this is in the wrong forum, or you need any more info please tell me

At the $1.50s and $3.50's, I see a lot of guys opening up their BB PF calling range in BvB situations - especially in situations like this where he is getting 3:1 odds to call pre and esp in 6max. So while I think you have done a good job trying to guess what range he is on, you should also think about what range he might be putting you on (and if possible, estimate your own VPIP/PFR to do so). I have seen some pretty tight players go all-in from the BB in situations like this with hands like A-4 because they are putting you on something like A-K or A-J. Myself, I would prob bet more on turn - looks like you are only at 50% pot if I calculated correctly - if you bet 80% pot, you can prob just shove on river and give him the difficult decision.

I would be betting bigger all the way too. Potsizing the flop and the turn, cus you really don't want another heart to hit. If he calls all the way and still jams, I'm finding a fold. 13 and 9 is pretty tight and I'm sure he has something strong. He maybe flopped a flush? I think if he hit a set on the flop he would have protected it too... I just think it's too early in the tourney to call that all in when you still have plenty of tourney to play.

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Like you said I should have taken a higher raise on the turn. 50% of pot is to small.

I ended up folding after some thought and I wanted to see what you guys thought of this spot
