All in over his 3bet preflop. Ranges are wider vblind versus blind.
As played, I think check shove is probably a little better than bet call.

Agreed with all of this. You might be flipping pre, but I still think it's a 4bet shove.

Re: $7 SnG Hand - Bad Preflop Call or Okay Play?
Calling 3bet is not good preflop, why put in a ton of your stack oop to c/f numerous flops? As played on flop I like leading, but think 210-255 is a better sizing
I don't at like getting it in preflop at all and think you guys are crazy. How many people are 3betting to 400 with a bunch of middling Ax/broadway hands we need to have in their range? I think medium pairs/strong Ax making up a big portion of the average range here. Sometimes people 3/call A9 A7s KJs etc but that's not many people

With a hand like A2o in the bb, how should he (referring to villain) be playing? Call then fold to a c-bet?
I generally think in bvb situations, both players show up with lighter holdings than a CO versus SB all in situation with similar stack sizes.
I would 3-bet/fold a lot of weak aces in this spot (prob 3betting to 350 instead of 400). Tons of medium pp, worse aces, broadway to make this a shove imo, especially given the amount of money already in the pot.

This is a $7 game, most players are not 3betting light. If villain had A2 I assume he would flat or fold. With no reads, he is most probably AQ 1010.

Re: $7 SnG Hand - Bad Preflop Call or Okay Play?
This is a spot I seem to find my self in quite a bit which is why I decided to post it here.
After re-thinking the hand I think a fold preflop would of been a better play for the following reasons:
1) I think a hand like 88-JJ would have shoved in the position.
2) Only AK, AA, KK, QQ would 3 bet here for value.
If the hand continued as shown above:
1) Open shove would have been the best play, maybe I'd have better fold equity at that point then a c-bet (assuming my opponent thinks I will c-bet any 2 cards).
Thoughts?

Re: $7 SnG Hand - Bad Preflop Call or Okay Play?
Purely on odds I'd make the call. You're betting odds are 31%, and odds of making your hand is ~40%. Clear cut call. Could've been played better earlier, methinks.
