why on earth did you check/gett-it-in on the flop? Bet the flop, jam the turn.

You guys do realize most PPs get jammed pre so on the flop he has nothing most of the time. and we're stacking a queen anyway, we do lose value vs flush draw tho ldo

Since the losing player called from the BB with a 12bb stack, he likely has an incoherent range. And I am betting the flop (which I think isnt even a question), to maximize the likelihood that he makes a mistake.

Why would betting the flop maximize likelihood of mistake.

People tend to get a little agressive on paired flops, though I don't see it as much in hypers than in other formats. Anyway it's not like he has to bet the flop. Sometimes he does sometimes he doesn't. Not a big deal imo.

Anyway, I just reread the hand. I feel like Hero kinda has to call the minraise given how he played the hand. While hero's range is obv pretty wide preflop shouldn't be too many 3s or 5s in there. It's just an excellent spot for villain to try a bluff. I prefer checking river if we are going to be folding in scenarios like this.

It looks suspicious. So I can see this opponent floating with overcards given his call pre. Not to mention we are giving him an opportunity to spazz / get in flush draws.

I like c-betting small (around 1/3 pot). And jamming the AA on any non-flush turn.

Just saw the board was Q high. What's this opponent going to do with hands like KJ, KT, AJ, AT, A9, JT. Cause if he floats with those on the flop there is no need to let him catch up.
