I am usually playing MTT's, for improving at short stack play I am currently studying 6max hyper sng. I went through this hand and I am not really sure if my assuptions are correct in this hand.

Non-converted HH because I am at work now

6-Man Hyperturbo SNG, Buy in 1,50$
Blinds 10/20 Ante 2

all stacks are 500 +/- 10%

SB posts 10
BB posts 20
UTG calls 20
UTG+1 raise 52
UTG+2[Hero] 3bet 144
Button folds
SB folds
BB folds
UTG 4bet 538 and is all-in
UTG+1 calls 496 and is all-in
UTG+2[Hero] ?

we have to call 352 for a pot of 1572 so we need 22,4% equity for a call.

i thought, UTG will 4bet shove with nothing worse than 88+, ATs+, KQs and AJo+, maybe KQo.
UTG+1 instaclicked all-in and i assumed a range of 99+, AJs+, AQo+

Given these ranges, I have an equity of 28,4% so this should have been a call.

I folded this hand.

3b/f line? feel like just shoving could have been better?

its fine to call utg1 3bet, if utg jam, and utg1 call then fold.

if utg1 fold, then call. This also depends on players.

In general I think when they limp and then3bet all in or 4bet all in are mostly having a range of: JJ+, ATs+, AJo+

Your pot odds are ~22%, but actually you need more like 29% to call with ICM being considered. This is also a reason why it might not be advisable to play hyper SNGs to practice for short stack play in MTTs, imo.

Thanks for the answers!
Didnt think that ICM does matter that much with all players left. Got to run it through ICMizer now and find out
