I'm not sure about the limp preflop, almost everytime that I raised preflop he folded and I wanted to trap some Ax Kx.

I really dislike that river bet, what are u trying to get value from or what better hands u expect to fold? It seems somewhat weird what's happening ott. Pre and flop prob fine.

I was a bit tilted and thought that since he was playing so many hands I could push him off if I continued betting. But now looking back i can see that i can only beat hands like A5 or K5. Thank you for the reply

This deep, raise pre. You say he was overfolding to your raises, the correct adjustment is to raise wider. Also 66 just doesn't play that well postflop to trap with.

Flops close, I'd just call, raise might be better though?

As played, turn bet is good. Calling the checkraise is close though, villain is passive and has plenty of 3x in his range.

River is a clear check.

You did the aggressive part passive and the passive part aggressive. Raise pre. Your not 'trapping' by limping with a low pp oop. Call otf. You should be able to recognize your behind a lot when villain x/raises ott. This line from villain is more likely to be a made hand but fds get there as well. You have sdv so definitely just check back otr.

Logic is thin here OP. You wanted to "trap" him?

Preflop:
Agree that this is a raise pre as it is a big hand heads up and we're happy to build a pot in position.

Flop:
I like the flop raise as there are still plenty of hands we get value from like 3x, 5x and plenty of draws we need to protect against. I would maybe bet a little bigger for this reasoning though, something like 5BB, as we are happy to take it down now too.

Turn:
If we thought we were ahead on the flop then were probably still good here as the only hand this card improves are his 3x which isn't a huge part of his range right now. I'm happy to bet for protection again but also don't mind just checking behind for pot control sometimes. As played i'm wary of his c-raise: I don't think he would play a 10 this way as probably would've c-called or lead the turn. 3x now good part of his range but as there are still lots of draws he could have and we're getting such a good price its probably a call here, hoping for a cheap showdown.

River:
Very happy with his check on the river and would be checking back here 100% of the time. Betting really makes no sense in my opinion and would be folding as played.
