Question 6-max hand vs maniac

I'm at a bit of a loss what my best option is for this scenario. Players like this come along so rarely. The BB in question is (literally) 98/83 with a 3bet of 63.6.

    Poker Stars, $13.92 Buy-in (50/100 blinds) No Limit Hold'em Tournament, 4 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite. View Hand #13578312

    BB: 4,890 (48.9 bb)
    CO: 495 (5 bb)
    BTN: 1,480 (14.8 bb)
    Hero (SB): 2,135 (21.4 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A 8
    2 folds

rather limp/shove vs. this villain, don't think he will shove so often over the limp. if he is suicide calling i guess fold is ok
edit: no its 6m, raise/call, never fold

It maybe high variance to shove, but you have a very strong hand a very good chance for a double-up here, so I say shove.

At first I wrote, "You're way ahead of his calling range," but then I LOL'd. 98%!

Yeah even if he's only 50% calling vs a 21bb push we have a huge edge.

I like the open shove. He has a lot of chips. I can see an call with any two.

Just for lolz I think I could play it in 3 different ways:
    - If he's the FPS-kind of player that will min3bet you if you click it here => click and shove over his 3b.
    - If he's just been openshoving every hand until now => open shove.
    - If he's just been raise/calling every hand thus far => limp and shove over raise.

No idea if any of it is correct.
Dafuq are you doing in a 6man though

I would limp/shove prob, but raise/call seems cool too.

Raise/get it in. Open jam is pretty meh with this stack size.

I would actually fold here. I just think there are better spots. Obviously it's +EV to shove and to limp/shove, but I feel there may be better spots to come.

Nah man if we let someone else get this guy's chips we're putting ourselves in a much worse position. We have a big edge here and we need to take it imo.
