Villain hasn't been very active, but maybe pre-flop is questionable. Would we fire a third barrel on the river here?

i don't think there is 100% answer here.
if you feel your villian will fold the river, go ahead, fire the third one.

at the .50c level, i would not reccomend that.

If villain is calling turn, he's almost always calling river imo.

Might want to openfold or limp depending on the player, but if u raise, make it 2x. Flop cbet smaller, fish aren't gonna fold to 450 and call/raise 380 or sth. Turn is a good card to barrel, but once he calls turn i can't see that you can barrel him off much of a range otr, cause he a) won't realize icm pressure and b) fish very rarely call 2 streets and fold river unless with draws and there aren't terribly many plus you block some of them.

Make the 8 a and the Ace a Queen, and I like the tripple-barrel.

Ok, thanks. As played I checked, he bet half pot and I folded but I just had the feeling he was doing it with nothing.

I went on to ship the STT anyway. I am not sure it's true that they don't realise the ICM pressure. Recreational players may not know the terminology or ICM calculations but they realise that they might be able to fold into the money or ladder up the pay scale. I got a big chip lead later and was jamming virtually every hand (they were all under 10 BBs) mostly because I was getting good hands and they were folding hand after hand - the guy who is CO in this HH here basically blinded down until he was at 1.5BB in the BB and forced to call my T2o with 78s. So he was out, and the bubble burst and the very next hand the third largest stack wakes up and calls my all in with something like K9o (fortunately I had AQo that time) and the next hand, I get it in with 66 against the other player and it holds. Of course they may all have had bad cards for like 15 hands or something, but it really looked like they were playing to ladder/cash which is why they were out in 3 successive hands once the bubble burst.

for what raise 450??? 1) the bb is big the best is raise 2.2x.... the range the call is equal for 2.2x or 3x

    2) cb 50% wrong the best move es 30 or 35% the pot

    3) 3 barrel lose chips
