The army is the feds. Having the military not police citizens is so 1st world. Think it's part stunt, part deterrent. That's pretty much the only road that goes from Ensenada up to Rosa so it is a PITA to move large quantities.

Easy fix for the cartel problems. Just need to have the US legalize drugs and outlaw guns...

In after I banned him

Good catch, will make the graph look even more absurd taking out some games .

Yday was weird, traffic went from super slow to a bunch of 357 traffic to slow again, and then most of the day it was just jorj and I sitting the 3502s and all of the sudden 3 went off right at the end of the day. Won 2/3 which was needed!

Went out to watch the Blackhawks with Ruse, pretty sick comeback and really clutch to steal game 1 on the road. Hopefully will be able to catch the 2nd and 3rd period of game 2 tomorrow night after the sat traffic dies.

Yeh anyway gonna hit the study grind for a bit and then going out to Ollies with Ruse and maybe a cpl others. Gonna stock up on drinks and the like for the weekend grind and be ready to grindgrindgrind

When's the last time you bragged about poker to one of the HK girls? Do you even make small-talk? Or are you just playing push/fold?

Whoops totally forgot about this thread. SCOOP has been a wild ride so far, lot of 3502 action, have run really badly so far in them but plenty of time to make a comeback. Have gotten 40k+ vpps 4/6 days so far during SCOOP and am on like 250k since SCOOP started last Sunday.

Negative 5 fig hourly the rest of the way out

Picked up 55k VPPs today, running really badly at 3502s this entire SCOOP season but as Ive said I have a separate buyer/deal for them off the stake BR so doesn't really affect my day to day stake/makeup situation. Should be an interesting week next week, esp this coming weekend with what I expect to be a ton of 3502 traffic!

I'm sorry that day ended so badly. I was going to post that you might have been on pace for one of the greatest single day $ returns ever in SnGs, minus Spin and Go promotions of course.

You and especially your backer have enormous balls. Please don't take it as any disrespect to him but I have no idea why anyone would ever stake someone in these games. They only run once a year for a limited time and the lineups seem moderately to difficult at times when I rail the games. Even if you do have a slightly positive expectation in the games the risk to ruin from the variance combined with the low overall volume seem extremely volatile in a staking deal.

You're clearly a very good horse at the mid to "normal" high stake games and he has very good investment putting you into those games.

He must just enjoy to roll the dice allowing you to play these higher buyin hypers. Anyway, I wish you best of luck and I hope you come out of SCOOP on top.

Cheers.

What methods are u using to cope with the psychological impacts of these swings? Being up most ppls yearly salary until noon and dropping the same before sunset appears rough even if you're backed at high %.

Don't like talking about my deal/s but my backer isn't the person with very much of the action, it's someone else who stakes/buys %'s of a lot of HS-Nosebleed players.

Anyway tyty, hopefully this weekend is just v good

I honestly don't really notice or care, but I've always had more of a gamblers mindset. I've said it elsewhere, but I'm sure Ruse would attest to the fact that I've never once gotten angry while playing this month, nor do I act any differently whether I've won or lost a lot of $ in a day...once I walk away from the computer, I completely separate my results from the rest of my every day life.

Got showered yesterday, again mostly in 3.5ks. Probably the best games of the SCOOP series at 3.5s overall yday and had my worst or 2nd worst results, std obv. Hitting the study grind for a bit and then on the grind, supposed to get my car back today but we shall see, lol_mexico and whatnot!

Eastbound and Down was on Thai television today. Always think of that show when grinders talk about Mexico. I can sort of relate to some of the aspects of that show here in Thailand as well.

The laziness and sometimes half assed mentality at the work place is often found in Thailand businesses as well. You get what you pay for I guess as wages are much lower in both countries than they are in America.

Still there are a lot of great aspects of living outside of America for periods of time as well. I'm sure you've learned to enjoy a lot of those things while living in Mexico and at the very least I'm sure you'll at least look back at it one day as an "experience".

note: No offense intended to hard working Thais and/or Mexicans. I know that many exist in both countries.

About that time again!

I will be playing every $17,340 that goes off, if any $17,340s go off . Should be quite the entertaining ~2 months!

Hoping to hit the grind hard starting Friday, I've been quite busy with some side projects (including starting to work for my coaches up and coming MTT stable as the stable manager) and that has taken a lot of time, but hoping to be able to go nearly as hard for WCOOP as I did for SCOOP!

So far I've managed to play 6 $1770s and have bricked all 6 of them, so not the best start but hopefully won't be a repeat of SCOOP, mainly for my investors sake .

Updates to come I'm sure, I'll start posting daily graphs once I get back into grind mode; studied a fair amount today and think I will likely play 1 short session tomorrow and then get in a lot more study.

Gla on the tables!

Haha thx, unfortunately Ike/jorj95/johnsmith haven't sat 17ks, so far its only been myself and scossett that have reg'd. If none of them play 17ks, I'm afraid none will run, but obviously still plenty of time til WCOOP even starts so things could change.

Got 5 more $1770s in, 11 in not that much time trying to play, which is a great sign for the overall traffic we will get.

Gonna try to be good about tracking my VPPs, have no idea how many I got the couple of other times I played earlier this week, but can start the tracking with today, July 30th. Will be interesting to see how many VPPs and hours I play between now and end of WCOOP.

July 30th/Starting VPPs: 1,259,332.59
Ending: 1,265,861.48
Day VPPs: 6528.89

Was very little traffic above $109s and again I didn't get to play very much, pretty much just loaded the few hours I had available. Studied a fair amount of hands past 24 hours but still feel rusty. Am hoping to get in a nice sized session tomorrow but we'll see heh
