Thanks guys! I think it is finally starting to feel real getting this close. I am definitely buckling up and bracing for what I expect to be a challenging but also exciting ride
Here's my advice: Get sleep. If the baby is asleep and it's possible for you to sleep, then sleep. If you give yourself enough time to get your sleep in shifts, getting up in the middle of the night won't suck and you'll enjoy the baby more.

Congrats TBadr
....Listen to this man! The biggest shock to my system was sleep deprivation with our first baby who didn't sleep through for 3 years straight. Until you know what it's like it's impossible to say how hard it can be at times. You may be lucky and get a sleeper but if not you just have to sleep as much as you can when you can in shifts. Good luck!!!!
Thanks for the advice guys! to be honest, I am expecting the sleep deprivation and based on jobs i had, I have a decent tolerance for that. I am more worried about my wife who usually needs 9-10 hours of sleep to be functional (as opposed to my 6) too bad I am a guy and can't lactate otherwise i'd be willing to wake up every 3 hours to nurse the first few weeks.
My advice would be to focus on your wife even more then on a baby. It's funny how babies copy mother moods and if mother gets stressed out it's really easy to get in that vicious circle where stressed baby doesn't let mother to rest and tired mum isn't capable to calm baby down.
Also strongly recommend waking up at night mostly being women's work ftw! Actually we were quite lucky in that my daughter slept through starting at about 2 weeks old.
We are lucky that her immediate family is within an hour drive (with flexible schedules) and we have a guest bedroom. I think it is however going to be tricky balancing privacy with getting enough help when we need it.

So Stars is now taking back their earlier decisions on increased rake.
Will be curious to see the response from Dnegs (and Josem) on this.
I'm expecting something along the lines of "even though we strongly believe that by increasing rake we will further improve the state of the games for coming years and achieve a growing market, we have decided to take our customers' complaints at heart, as pokerstars has always put its customers first."
Did they go back on SpNG rake or just the mtt rake increases?
To be fair to Josem I dont think you can lump the statements he was given to make in with the absurdity which is DN rallying against WSOP rake increase one year and hailing rake increase as the hero poker needs, now.
