Im wondering if people think that this is a standard openshove for 17bbs effective or if it is too spewy and that I should be minraise folding ?

You are wasting AJo by shoving, even with ante you can still minraise and play poker.

In my opinion is to early for show. 17 BB allow you make standard raise. By showing in this spot if you get callad you will be probably way behind. If not you just waste potential of your AJ hand.

Certain hands here are better shoves than min opens, but AJ isn't one of them IMO

I'm interested in that question too! I'm gonna guess... KQ? 66-88? I don't think I ever shove 17bb in sng.

Yeah true I wouldn't usually shove 17bbs effective here but if you are shoving hands like KQ/88 you sort of have to balance your range by shoving stronger hands also

There is zero need for any sort of 'balance' in micro stakes SNGs. Zero.

Chances of Aaron posting his 17bb open shove range in here is zero. Zero.

too many chips to shove I would open to 2.5x like i do with all my hands and call a jam from all 3 players. If we get a caller we can still comfortably cbet like 4bbs on flop and fold after that if we miss

I think minraise is better then 2.5x or more. If two players go allin you fold and have saved 0.5bb everytime
