15$ 6max Hyper middle stack OTB with passive bigstack

Warning: pretty sure I butchered this hand... you have been warned .

SB is the typical passive nit preflop that can pull off anything postflop, though I don't think he'd get out of line too often in big pots like these.
No specific reads on BB, probably means he's some sort of fish though .

Reason for the minraise is because SB wont abuse my minraise so I can safely minraise my entire range here I think .

OTF I think checking back flops like these is fairly standard? Or should I try and get it in?

OTT I probably should have folded but I figured I had 14 outs and when I hit I would be able to get him to put chips in the pot a high% of the time.

Obviously I hit my least pretty out so the river is once again not a standard decision...

Re: 15$ 6max Hyper middle stack OTB with passive bigstack

I don't mind the min raise pf at all.

On the flop, why not just pot bet/call or jam to end your confusion? You have LOTS of equity and you can simplify the whole darn thing.

I'm pretty sure no one will like what I have to say though. I'm used to it by now.

I mean flop sucks cause I expect SB player type to have Jx often + some other stuff hell call, but I still think we should just cram it in. I fold turn, but calling a bit smaller bet

River is easy fold, what is he bluffing you with?

edit: We want as much fold equity as we can, I think making it 210-225 can gain us significant fold equity

8bbs effective from the BTN and on the bubble I push something like 25%. Problem is you are pretty far from the small stack, so you have to be tighter, but i think this is a NASH push, although it's the buttom of the range, AND there are no garanties that they call NASH.

Minraise is fine givin like you say SB does'nt know to reshove any two. But why not stab the flop with 150 or so ? If he shoves give it up, and you are still tied for second. If he calls, he might check turn and you can check also and got to see both turn and river for "free" and maybe hit the flush.

If miniraising (I still think showe) then you have to bet flop to take advantage of fold equity. I don't think small blind risks becoming a short stack (considering how short BB is) without a premium hand. Btw anyone have access to any Hyper Sng material?
