Re: $15 6max AJ on SB

You don't need to apologise for your English. It's much better than my Swedish

I think if you raise and he shoves back over any hand he would have folded to a shove, or hands that you would have wished to call (which includes 99/TT), you have made a mistake. (Although you don't want your shove called by 99, you don't want to raise to 800 and then fold to it, and you don't want 44 to shove back over thinking it has some FE when it may have folded to your shove.)

Yeah, villain's range is pretty wide here. With the dead money in there, I'm fist-pumping / moonwalking / shoving my AJs here

the guy is raising 30%+ and probably folding a lot, you can't worry about only the times u get into a flip or get in dominated.

Re: $15 6max AJ on SB

there are roughly 500 chips already in the pot, which is nearly a third of your stack size you can win outright which is a lot.

aj has 60% equity vs a 30% range and around 45% equity vs a 10% range, factor in the fold equity on top and folding becomes a big mistake vs a 30% big stack BTN opener. you can reshove lighter than ajs vs a 30% opener and 10% caller in this spot as well if you choose to

so the only question is do we reshove or reraise? reraising feels pretty bad here because the stack sizes and binds mean we cannot bet size our reraise to give us much room on the flop. Do you really want to be flatted oop with AJs, with one big bet left for the flop? You can only reraise here if you bet flop 100%, check folding would be horrible with the money in the pot and our stack sizes - we have to stack off. Because we have to stack off anyway, we should reshove instead

in this spot vs a 30% opener i would guess our reshove range could be something like 8-10%? AJoff+, 66/77+, A9-10s+

If you honestly know he opens 30% and only calls off 10% then you can add in the suited broadway hands and 66 type hands into your range as well

Yes, we would never fold the flop.
