 18man - potential 3bet shove with K9s? 18man - potential 3bet shove with K9s?

Hi

I stopted playing sng about 2 years ago and recently restarted (used to be a break even player or small winner.)
Played some games today and ran in to this hand. Player was min raising a lot to steal pots.
Imo my hand had a lot of equity agains the range he could be playing.
So my question is did i make an ok 3bet shove or should i have waited beiing so close to the money?

cant imagine UTG running at 14/13 opening into 6 players wider than 44+ A2s+ A5o+ KTs+ KJo+ QTs+ JTs and thats being generous, also we dont have much fold equity with 9bb against the percieved opening range, making our 3bet shove with K9s unprofitable, about -0.6bb in this spot, personally i would keep my 3bet shoving range a bit tighter due to the lack of fold equity, probably something like 55+ A9s+ ATo+ KQs, hope this is of some help, gl

Yeah, can't ever see this being good, you have almost no fold equity, and your hand is in bad shape against his range.

Corrected for you. You can edit up to 30 minutes after posting, after that the edit will need to be done by a mod. If you need a mod's attention, please hit the report button next to the post.

Also, moved this to STTF as 18mans are a much better fit in there.

With pottods of nearly 2-1 he's right to call with all hands except pure garbage, and he have a stack big enough to take a beat. This is not the right time for a resteal. Target the average stacks, they are both small enough to be afraid of losing, but big enough to lay down a hand.

But I like the agressivety, its highly profitable to be agressive on the bubble, just pick a better spot.
