$11, JJ on button facing UTG raise and UTG+2 flat 8 handed 20/40
What is your preferred play here? UTG is a pretty good reg, 17/12 over 471 hands overall (he probably has at least twice this number of hands on me since the other computer that I was playing on crashed and I lost some data). UTG is 9/9 over 81 hands from EP. UTG+2 FWIW is a random appears bad, 56/22 over 9 hands.
In game my thought process was that folding is too nitty for sure. A standard 3 bet puts in too much of my stack pre to think of folding to a 4 bet shove. So I went ahead and shoved myself. In hindsight I could have considered flatting here given that UTG is pretty tight from EP. I could then use the positional advantage postflop since we are fairly deep here.
Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks in advance for your input!

NL Holdem $40(BB) Replayer
SB ($3,060)
BB ($1,490)
UTG ($1,900)
UTG+1 ($530)
UTG+2 ($2,120)
MP1 ($3,070)
CO ($1,470)
Hero ($1,360)

UTG raises to $120, fold, UTG+2 calls $120, fold, fold, Hero?

My preferred line here is to 3bet small ~300.
UTG will realize our range is strong. I maybe still call off versus him depending on meta, JJ is pretty strong, definitely not folding AK vrs 4bet if we 3bet pre.
UTG+1 will not realize how strong our range is (or care if he knows) and will probably flat very wide with these odds (maybe his whole range), and we can play a flop against him.
I think shoving is probably +ev, but not the best way to play the hand.
If we 3bet to ~450, we have to call off if UTG shoves, and will be very close to calling off worse, so I don't really like that line as much as betting smaller. I would probably 3bet AQ/99+ or maybe a little wider.

I think flatting may be the best option here. I also don't mind a 3-bet small to like 330 and calling/folding depending on meta game (as Regret$ said), but flatting seems better given how tight villains are.

Seems like a very standard shove, am I missing something?
And how is "meta" relevant here?

Meh, fullring vs a UTG tight raiser, this is a standard flat call.
Raising achieves nothing. No better hand is folding and very few worse hands will call.
Call and play some poker.

So basicly we get it in vs AK/QQ/KK/AA - Seems pretty bad to me? He will fold TT and probably also AK.

If you flat and the board comes out T high or lower, how are you going to proceed when UTG leads flop?

I see where dogzpp is going and I like it. I love it when people say we're going to "play poker" with shallow stacks. So okay, he leads every flop. Now what?

Sure it's a tricky spot, but 3 betting and getting it in because we want to avoid tough decisions has to be the worst option for the reasons I gave earlier.
And raising "for information" is just spew. We should be raising either for value or as a bluff.
If villain is a reg nit, he knows OP is a reg too and so he won't be getting too out of line on the flop, particularly since OP has position on him. If the flop comes low cards, I'd peel one and fold to a second barrel.
In a 100bb cash game, the correct play would be to peel 2 streets.

We're not 100BB deep. You realise that, right?
I'd barrel always against a reg on a low flop because they do exactly what you suggest: call one and routinely fold the turn.
