$1,50 18man turbo ATo vs 3bet shove

Hi guys!

Another hand from the 18man turbos.

Hero had been stealing from the CO-SB. Once I had opened and folded to a shove in a similar position. Vilain is a good oponent with observed knowledge in push/fold that had history of playing 23/18/9.1 in this level of blinds.

The decision itself seems preety easy. Please advise me how to play these type of hands.

I believe it is a strong hand to just fold. Players left to act were tight or had knowledge in this type of spots. I also believe I would take the pot a lot of times with a raise here since I am to confortable to just shove.

Should I not be opening hands like this one and just use my stack to reshove on someone?

Thanks guys.

well played. Very standard raise, and folding vs most people.

This spot can be read dependent though. For example if BB is reg that knows you steal wide and you think will resteal wide(This may be rare in a 1.5$ though, so probably don't worry about it). Or if he is just superloose fish that you have seen push random hands.

If any stack under 10bb pushes, you generally call. This may vary aswell if pusher is very tight.

thks! so this type of moves is a profitable move if you know how to select your oponents left to act, yes?

The BB was a good player (confirmed later on with more sng's played) but at that time I believe he did not had the information that he needed about me to push very wide.

If he was superloose I would think a lot about calling.

Looks pretty standard, I would need more reads than the fact that he is a reg to call this.
