If Tyler was wearing the shirt that he wore to the 2+2 party last year, I'm thinking Wookie is mistaken. I'm not sure Tyler's shirt can be more than tied.

I'm a little confused, in your info area it says you live in Boulder, CO. But somewhere else it says you live in San Carlos? I live in the bay area too, that's why I'm curious. Maybee I'm just getting posters mixed up.

hey i just figured out your screenname. you should definitely come when we inevitably have a meetup at b101. i hear wook is scared money these days, but first things first: furniture.
doug lives in boulder. wook lives on the peninsula, i think in the office furniture section of ikea. i was the one who was staying in san carlos (though i now live in the city).

My theory on furniture is to either spend near nothing, and get stuff that barely gets by, or get absolute top quality while being indifferent to price. I avoid the middle.

By the way, if I can add one obvious, and often stated, but important thing here. Never wager on anything with money you can't afford to lose. If your wife will kill you for losing 300 bucks, then you basically can't play live poker.
I think sometimes people read too much into the fact that poker is a beatable game. It doesn't mean you will do better playing poker versus, say, a slot machine on any given night. It doesn't matter if you have the skills of Phil Ivey, you still need to go into every session understanding that a big loss is possible.

In bravos' defense, that drive is murder on weekdays. Even at 7 pm it can be 1.5 to 2 hours.
