Is there any other site than PTR that has (had) stats like these?

To answer OP... If your goal is to play micro NL games by the end of the year, then just start playin NL2 and that's it. No need to complicate things.

I'm asking that because you wrote:

I know, and that's the only site i know fo that has that information. SO it's possible it's not completely accurate, but it can't be off by such an incredible amount to change things.

Yep, just checked it again. Top 7 hands wise also have a winrate of ever 1.3, except for one person who is 1.07 or something like that.

No, especially if your goal is to move up at NL.

FWIW, your best bet is PLO8 as it's the most profitable game atm, IMO. Even up to the 50 or 100 level.

I'd only suggest playing LHE if that's the game you really enjoy. Playing eventually for any kind of serious profit as a newer player is a longshot, IMO.

Should I even bother with Limit at all? I mean I know that it's useful.....Forgive my ignorance....I searched the Limit micro forums and could not find a good answer to that.

I love how organized the micro Limit section is on here, and I guess I'm looking for further proof that Limit would help me out with my goals.

Having played some FR micros NL, you can win just being a nit and trying to stack donks. You're playing fewer hands and making many fewer decisions per hand. I'm not sure you can beat LHE games with just a starting hand chart these days.

That said, it doesn't matter. It isn't about skill required, it is about skills you have at present. If our OP is playing NLHE in SNGs and has little LHE skill, he should just play NL.

Makes no sense to me. LHE isn't the training wheels version of NL to be tried first. If our OP wants to play NL at year end, he should just play it now. LHE isn't useful for a guy who wants to play NL. I'm guessing the uNL forum is good, too. /thread

Re: Should I bother with LHE at all?

to be fair,LHE is inherently easier, because you are limited in your choices and amount of decisions. NLHE has the whole betsizing aspect to it, so from a theoretical standpoint it is simply wrong to say NLHE is easier than LHE. A progression from LHE -> NLHE is quite natutal, in fact.

Of course people tend to play NLHE worse than LHE, but from pure playability LHE is easier
