Re: Plus, If I Ignored You Before, then 2 Inches Aint Going to Change That (NC Thread)
some may not be comfortable having their play published, so out of courtesy, I would check with known 2+2'rs at your tables before posting (fwiw, I don't really care tho and I'm really easy to spot)
if the mods or others say no, another option is a lot of us trade videos in the monthly session reviews...

There are a couple other routes to go. First, get a small George Foreman grill. The smallest ones are about 750 watts compared to 1000w for most electric skillets. The GF grill cooks on both sides, so it's faster than a skillet. The lower power drain might work at your place.
If you're still popping breakers, you can get a power inverter and run it off your car battery. Be sure to get a big enough invertwer, 1000w or so.

Good idea.
McNeese, are you ok with me posting a video if you're in it?

for me it's a lot more work to go out to eat sometimes (especially when I get the muchies later in the evening or when I don't want to drive after a few beers or hungover the next morning) - I'd at least get a 2-burner propane camp stove so you could make coffee, cocoa, raman noodles, spaghetti, soups, steamed vegies, artichokes, quesadillas, whatever - you can even pan-fry hamburgers, steaks, eggs, bacon, ham steaks, fried potatoes, grill cheese, etc..
I have a ton of camp-recipes from multi-day rafting trips and quite a few poor-man's bachelor recipes that are really easy to make if you're interested.. just make sure to crack a window if your cooking in a small place...
Results: 16.2 BB pot (0.7 BB rake)
Final Board: 8 3 5 3 5
CO mucked 7 J and lost (-4.5 BB net)
Hero showed A J and won 15.5 BB (11 BB net)
MP showed K Q and lost (-4.5 BB net)

My budget right now is nice since i got a good paying job where i can afford to go out to eat once a day. I'm thinking about just eating at the chinese buffet and getting all my protein and calories in one sitting.
I'll see how this experiment goes, and if it doesn't work i'll take you up on those recipes

I've played my way up to .25/.50. My won$@SD is sadly low, but my WR is high. I've benefited from playing insane LAGs who are willing to stack off light.
I've actually seen some meh .25/.50 games, and given the rake, you should game select out of those. The rake should make you want to tighten up in marginal spots. The fact that people can spew unlimited bets should make you want to have a maniac/gambler image, especially with the spewbots. Given that you may be playing for stacks, following around guys willing to 14 bet air and being willing to play pots with them should allow you to appear to be a idiot.
I think softer games are beatable for 3-5BB/100 even with the rake. However, given how little $ that really is, the games aren't worth playing. I may throw a little more money on the site and check out the higher stakes. Still working my level of pain for the next DoJ closure/bankrupt site.
