Lhe rakeback profit

Hello 2p2

I have a question it's about making a profit by playing 6max Lhe.
My goal is to make a steady profit by playing poker is limit the right choice
for this?
I have used the vpp calculator of stars and by playing on average 2 hours a day it says i will profit (rakeback) around $2500 till the end of the year .
This seems a bit much?

(silverstar-2hours a day-0.10/0.20)

The profit is calculated by vpp value and stellar awards?
Is it really as simple as this looks or am i wrong.

Sorry for the rambling message i can't post a picture of the vpp calculator (yet)
Table winnings or losses are not included right?

Thanks guys hope u can help me a bit

Re: Lhe rakeback profit

If you do only 750VPPs/month for the rest of the year, you will collect 5250 VPPs.
Stellar awards + buying 25$ bonus in store will get you about 200$ rakeback.

If you do 3000VPPs/month (goldstar), you will have 21000 VPPs.
Stellar awards + buying 75$ bonus in store will get you about 800$ rakeback.

Far from $2500 you were talking
Table winnings/losses are of course not included.

Re: Lhe rakeback profit

How many tables of LHE are you planning on playing?
It often looks easier than it actually is. I went in quickly and plucked in numbers.
It turns out, you want to play 20 tables of 6max LHE at .1/.2 and you want to spend all your FPPs in tournaments.
If you actually spend it on 25$ bonuses (which you get as Silverstars) it is actually only ~1500 which you make in "rakeback" + 400$ Stellar Rewards.

Total 2012 VIP Rewards:$1,981
VPP Milestones:$400
FPP Value:$1,581
WCOOP Main Event:$0
Switch to 2013 VIP Rewards >>
Yearly VPP Total:38,626
FPPs Earned:158,147

Edit: Oh yeah, and by playing that much, you actually move into Gold Star category, which gives you higher FPP multiplier, which is why it is so much.

Edit2: I would rather make a calculation of 8 tables at the most. 6max is not that easy anymore. Are there even that many tables? (no idea, I'm at work and don't wanna open up the client)

Re: Lhe rakeback profit

It's correct assuming i will be a goldstar?
Cause i don't see the $2500 either but it is the calculation i get from
the vpp calculator.
Currently silverstar 10 tables 6max 0.10-0.20 playing 2 hours on average a day.
thanks guys for the responses,

Re: Lhe rakeback profit

It's gonna be tough to hit goldstar playing 10 tables of 6-max 0,10/0,20.
More of a no than a yes.

BTW, have you ever tried playing 10 tables of shorthanded limit? It's not the easiest thing in the world

No idea how you got $2500. What calculator and which settings are you using?
Oh, and spending FPPs on tournaments means putting additional hours in poker. (unless you can play 10 tables of cash game + tournaments)

edit: As I can see, PokerStars calc uses 95hands/hour. That's way too optimistic.

Yes i can answer this one i have tried and succeeded up to 11 tables of shorthanded LHE
The thing i want to achieve is hit goldstar this month, take shots at .25-.50 next month
and beginning 2013 going for supernova at the .50-1 level
I hope to play break even or winning 2BB poker at these levels.

In the past i played nlhe, mtt and sng's but the profits were dissappointing despite putting in the volume etc.

2BB/100 is not possible 10-tabling 6max. Period.

Prepare to be disappointed in LHE, too. I'm sorry to be so brutal, but it's the truth.

Re: Lhe rakeback profit

thanks again for feedback sorry no graphs to show,

If you say 2BB is not possible i believe you,
No shame in rakeback profits though.

The thing is by playing higher levels of Lhe the profits i generate through the pokerstars
rakeback system will be better than my profits as in the last two years playing

Re: Lhe rakeback profit

What problems do you have with HM1?

Posting graphs is easy.
Right mouse click on graph in HM, choose save as... and save it as *.jpg file.
Go to site like imageshack or tinypic and upload this file.

Copy given link on the forums like this:

Re: Lhe rakeback profit

No need to contact support

Just update your HM1 here:
http://www.holdemmanager.com/Downloads/HmUpdate.exe

+ Check that your HandHistory is saving on your computer. It must be in English and check the folder path. If you have new PokerStars software, it's probably new folder under PokerStars.EU, so you must set this folder up in your auto-import HM1 settings.
