I have recently read lee joneses book on low limit holdem, just wondering what parts of the strategy in the book can be applied to 6max games ? thanks.

very little - if i recall correctly, lee's book is about being excruciatingly tight/abc/fit-or-fold in full ring games. to win at 6max games you need to be comfortable in marginal situations since you have to loosen up and play more hands

something like 'winning in tough holdem games' is a more reasonable start for shorthanded, but even that is dated (though not as much as lee's book)

finding/creating a decent preflop hand chart and then working on postflop situations is a good way to go. the training sites (i made videos for deucescracked) have lots of good material and some of the beginning 6m series should still be very useful. 'the price is right' on deucescracked comes to mind
