*G*

Don't show results.

cc'ing is the worst possible play pf, imo. 3bet or fold (I lean slightly toward fold, but it's debatable; make it JTs and I'm definitely playing).

As played pf, the flop and turn are OK, imo.

What precisely are you trying to catch him with on the river? Yeah, you caught him, but that's kinda result-oriented thinking (again: don't post results). How often is he actually going to have a J7+,T8+, 98, 87 type of hand that he's also elected to 3barrel? Not often enough to call getting only like 7:1, imo.

He recommends QJs as bottom of 3bet range regardless of the position the original raise and regardless of read on villain?

If so, I don't find that to be solid advice.

Yeah, personally I like to have about 45% or more. Against what I considered a taggy CO open range (I just used my own default CO open range), JTo had just barely over 40%. I opened that up a bit based on OP's read to a range I think is a bit laggy, and JTo still only had 44.1% equity.

So I'm sticking with my initial leaning (which was to fold pf).

Again: don't show results. River is a bad call, imo, unless you have a solid blufftard read on BTN. And I'd probably lead the flop; that's a pretty big draw 3way.

OK, I admit I didn't read the HH previously (which, in my own defense, was NOT linked in the post I quoted), but I have now. And well, now I'm confused. He was suggesting QJs as the bottom of 3bet range.....but that hand is glaringly different from the one being considered here (most notably in that in Oink's hand he wasn't the first in after the raiser; that alone changes things substantially, before we even consider reads on villains).

Perhaps you're the one implying these hands are comparable because hero is otb and facing a single raise in both????
