I would probably fold.. what am I missing in the analysis?
Not sure where your getting 6:1 and when you want to fold, if your saying calling or raising the cbet. You have to make that call, you will call with much less than TP here. Turn is around 6:1 but you should get to c/r a straight and trip J's is fine, KJ well not so good there, but you have a few implied odds to use.

After the 3bet, it is 12:1 on the flop, but not to call down. Call down unimproved is about 3:1 .. No way anyone is folding 12:1 with TP2k and some bdsd,

On c/r flop, I guess it could be a chance to go wa/wb and let villain barrel.
But I raise also and hate when I'm 3bet.

After reading others I still think it is call and fold river unimproved without a note that villain 3bets 2nd pair.

Do we all love c/r'ing the flop? As I read the hand I felt like just going into WA/WB mode. Not sure if that is right, but I block one of his overcards and don't mind letting a 6outer barrel...of course that plan was shot to death on the turn anyways

I get the C/R, but dread getting 3!'d here....seems kind of thinnish
See, this is why I like y'all--this hadn't even crossed my mind. I suppose xr'ing from the BB vs a BTN open(i.e. a wide range) is standard, but here we're against a much narrower range. Soooo, thoughts on just a flop peel?

Re: Dealing with a pair of 3!s

*g*

What do you put villain's range to be after that flop action?

If villain jams hard with overcards and pairs, I'd put him on his 9% 3! range--JJ+,AJs+,KJs+,QJs,AJo+,KJo+,QJo. (More PP's in this range?) Stove puts us at 47% equity on the flop, 20% on the turn.

If he's only jamming with TP or an overpair, we're looking at everything with a J + overpairs (and JJ obv). Here we're 33% on the flop and 32% on the turn.

On the turn, you've got four queens that might help you and two jacks that might help you (a little more that the queens me thinks) plus 7.75:1 pot odds, enough for the six outer. Methinks that we're good to see the river, folding UI and going for an x/r if we hit and if you think he'll bet out the river.
