Re: Any Higher and I'd Be As Baked As Tyler (NC Thread)
Hey Guys,
I apologize for the "first crapola" content. It wasn't intended for me to disrespect or discredit the time, as well as hard work, that many of you volunteer into these forums that allow them to operate and produce everything that they have to offer.
In all honesty, it was a whimsical comment, made without much thought or consideration. Which is exactly the point.
Again, apologies.

Re: Any Higher and I'd Be As Baked As Tyler (NC Thread)
I would like to apologize for some of the comments I have made in this thread. It was never my intention to imply that the mods are weak-kneed, political time-servers who are more concerned with their personal vendettas and private power struggles than the problems of the forum. Nor to suggest at any point that they sacrifice their credibility by denying free debate on vital matters in the mistaken impression that unity comes before the well-being of the forum they supposedly represent. Nor to imply at any stage that they are squabbling little toadies without an ounce of concern for the vital issues of the forum. Nor indeed do I intend that readers should consider them as crabby, ulcerous, little self-seeking vermin with furry legs and an excessive addiction to alcohol and certain explicit sexual practices which some people might find offensive.
I am sorry if this impression has come across.

Mr. Dorval, 61, has spent 35 years in the classroom. He has a reputation as an able and respected teacher. His principal and his school board, on the other hand, regard him as a troublemaker. A week and a half ago, the school board, at the principal's request, took the highly unusual step of suspending him for unprofessional behaviour and for “negatively impacting student achievement.”
Did they catch him smoking dope with students? Letting them skip class? Slipping neo-Nazi propaganda into the lesson plan? No, no, and no. What he did was worse than that. He gave them zeroes. Zero on a quiz if they missed it without a good excuse; zero on assignments they never handed in.
