Also, if we're lucky, we'll be able to combine all our chips and make a tower as tall as Leroy's.

$500/hand pai gow?

We had a guy show up at our table that had just come over from the asian games side were he was playing pai gow at 500/hand. He had just lost 15 hands in a row (LOL) which is extremely impressive for pai gow. He then proceeded to spew of another $2000 in our game. Maybe I should have handed him this?

I won't be able to get there until after 19:30 myself (and won't be stopping at in-n-out first).

So the PLO8 event went poorly for LR2tBR, but he made most of his buy-in back at Hold thems and PLO8 tables at the Orleans? Or am I following the action incorrectly?

FYI there is an In-n-out a couple three five miles from Bay 101 on 237 in the McCarthy Ranch shopping center.

Poorly in the sense that I didn't cash, but played okay and wasn't dead money (by a long shot) so just one of those things... finished roughly 380th out of 978.

Made a touch under 1k in about 15 hours at Orleans 4/8 w/ HK. Also played 2 smaller tourneys. A $75 LO8 at Orleans and a $240 PLO8 at Caesar's (~77/260).

Played with Sam Grizzle (lol), Tom Schneider, and Brett Jungblutt (sic). May have been other pros, but those were the ones I knew.

Sorry you had the misfortune of playing with Sam Grizzle.

Meh... he was funny and busted in first 30-45 minutes so whatevs.

Edit: Was constantly ragging under his breath on this Russian? dude's hat.

Can't find a good pic, but looked kind of like a kid's size baseball hat (though with some Russian? stuff on front). Basically sat right on top of his head.

Very respectable.

Glad to hear you got some back at 4/8.

Re: Any Higher and I'd Be As Baked As Tyler (NC Thread)

So I was sweating bravos at Bay, watching him blitzkrieg the table as usual. Eventually my 6/12 seat gets called and I go sit. About 20 minutes later bravos walks up lugging his stack of racks. In that interim I've lost almost my entire rack buy-in. Same old story, I turn a straight, they river a flush. I flop an ace to pair up, they call for runner runner inside Broadway draw that gets there. Etc, etc.

The, just as quickly, I turn 2 pair that holds. Get KK, 3!, get cold-called in 2 places, see flop 6 ways, turn 5 ways, river 3 ways, and win unimproved. Etc, etc. Gotta get home before dark(no, not Orthodox), cash out 2.1 racks. (in for 2 racks)
