LNot a tournament player, but stacks are deep and I don't think the spot is close. Here's how a decent villain might look at the hand, assuming that >30BB stacks mean "play like cash".

Preflop, CO opens and we defend the BB by calling 100% of hands.

Flop, Q76 monotone. Have to decide whether to semi-bluff some hands and balance with fastplaying biggest hands, while considering your bluffing frequency. I want to fastplay the nuts here, so I also semi-bluff some . Not sure how a HORSE MTT player sees this spot. We have a lot of hands that want to see a turn because >50% of our hands have some sort of flush or flush draw. I do think there are some value hands that need to peel, and Qx without a spade and other pairs become decent favorites to your unpaired hands (half of which have a ) on the turn.

So here's the thing, on the turn the villain can raise for value with worse than your hand. His JJ and KK and Qx and maybe A6, K6s, K7s, A7 (some of which are looking nutty), could reasonably wait for the turn to c/r. This especially if your flop+turn cbet is likely. Once the villain can both have bluffs and value bet worse, you're in a limit game and you just call down. If I'm the villain with QT, I'm happily value c/r you on the flop or turn. I'll be sad when you call two streets, but you can have AK and AJ type hands that will peel the turn for your 1 card FD and then call the river because one bet.

If I was finding a fold ever, it's to the turn raise. Thing is, a lot of players will delay til the turn with semi-strong hands (as PFR has a lot of incentive to double and triple barrel on monotone boards, so check-call / check-raise with a hand like K Q is a great way to counter it), but generally find that it's better players doing that. Weaker players are far more likely to show up w/ a flush here, like, always (though a stronger player could elect to slowplay sometimes too). Readless, I think calldown is standard and expect to win against Qx a nonzero amount.

If you're in a spot where they can value raise worse, it is really hard to fold in LHE. You just need a few combos where the villain is raising for thin or not-so-thin value, and you end up having to call down. Agree with what you're saying about villains -- if they just always have the goods because they aren't good enough to get value, the decision changes.
