This is an idea we have kicked around a bit. With all of the ridiculous OPs in OOT these days, we wanted to strike a balance between the important goal of ****** containment and the equally important goal of giving people a chance to execute some 'sick burns.'

So if you start a really stupid thread, you will still get an infraction, or a ban, or whatever. But your thread will also get moved into this thread and people will probably make fun of you, or even answer your question if you're really lucky.

Carry on.

Important: Other mods, don't merge any threads into this that were started before this post. It will **** up the order. Those threads will just have to die lonely, stupid deaths.

So this thread is going to contain several threads within it, one confusingly after the other and all mixed up? Or after one has run it's course, it will be wiped out and replaced by a new one?

I noticed on Antonius' blog that he had a 200k prob bet with someone where one person had to beat the other at golf and tennis to win. This argument arose about which is harder to get good at. Settle our beef before it comes to fisticuffs.

It depends on what you call "good". But for somebody who is athletic and has played neither sport before, it would be much easier to get moderately good at tennis (~4.0) than Golf (<10 handicap).

For an out of shape person Golf would be easier, but they would have a much harder time than an athletic person.

what's really going to **** everyone up is when i catch a thread after a day or two and it gets merged in before a bunch of existing posts. muahahahaha all hail eris

I actually think one of the sickest burns is just a well timed 'wat'. It's really only appropriate to use wat in OOT when ridiculing a poor post. For an an example, see below

why don't you sticky and lock this thread and then edit it with the title and link for each "stupid OP", and then you can stick the unlocked stupid OP for sick burns until it is time to replace it with a new stupid OP?
