When I first saw this video about two years ago, it inspired me to go out and pursue it.

I recently made my first wingsuit flight in a skydiving environment after reaching the minimum of 200 skydives. Just from the 4 flights I've completed during my coaching course, I realized it will take a tremendous amount of nerve to mentally commit and fine-tune my body flight positions to even consider wingsuit BASE.

I'm pretty much a noob in the skydiving community with just over 200 jumps but if you have any questions, ask away.

I agree, that is awesome! I don't have any questions either, but it does make me want to try it. (Although at my age you only dream, lol.)

The thing that really surprised me about the skydiving community is that age is just a number. More than half the regulars at my skydive dropzone are 40+ and some even in their late 50s 60s. Some are experienced and some just started. It really is a sport of all ages.

Even when I was taking the wingsuit course out west, I saw one wingsuiter who had to be 60+

There really is no age limit to skydiving and we're just regular people with normal backgrounds from police officers, business owners, engineers etc. This sport is initially very expensive to start and can stay expensive depending on how many jumps you want to do each year.

Yeh I always thought this was something where they make it look way, way easier in the videos than it actually is.

All the best with it! I can't really think of a much more bad-ass hobby to drop into conversation when you're out at a bar or something.
