among weed smoking friends its 'chron' or 'weed'
if you're trying to act cool around someone new, you ask them if they want to 'smoke some herb'

calling it 'pot' is lame and ppl who say 'pot head' are ******ed or old.

A family I know uses the term "riding the tractor" or shortened to just "tractor" for those in the know. Evidently the family patriarch used to go out in the field and ride his tractor for no apparent reason when they were kids, and they learned what he was actually doing when they got older. Now the grown kids and parents and in-laws all talk about riding the tractor. They all smoke, two generations of family with the third coming up now.

So what you're saying is that 'pot' has fallen into such disuse that it's now itself a code word?
