^ Guessing you didn't pick ohio...

Got a sodastream, and its great. I'm not a regular soda drinker, neither is my wife. Its used mostly for sparkling water, but kids will be kids . We got them the rootbeer syrup for a treat. Needless to say, had to give a taste.

It's like a revelation, instantly transported to childhood. The flavor is amazing, easily the best tasting rootbeer I've ever had. Awaiting the welch's grape flavor and also experimenting with a homemade chocolate soda.

I have a tartan one of these with fluffy ears without the mouth thing that I get good use out of. Think about 70% of people think it's great and 30% think it's awful. I think it's warm.

Recently took the plunge and bought a nose hair trimmer. It was a sad day when I realised I needed it but now I never need to worry about random hairs sticking out the bottom of my nostril.

Bike light that is amazingly more bright than the cheap one my gf bought me.

I'm not sure if there are any gamblers on 2+2, but this is a great party game. Winner take all for a buck or two will get any Breeders Cup party rolling.

Link? I could probably use it. Even the cover since it can get quite windy here even at minus 30.

I'm contemplating buying that hat for winter here walking my dogs. Even though it's not nearly as cold here we get the most awful winds that cut right through you.

they're double layered so the rubbing happens between the two layers of sock, not between the sock and your skin.
by no means inexpensive, but if you're in a situation where having blisters/hot spots would ruin the experience then they're worth the extra money.

After my tub got clogged again from my wife's hair, a tubshroom has been amazing:

And not sure if I mentioned it ITT, but the thing that has brought me the most pleasure lately has been my hydroponics setup at work. Started with this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N3UVHVC/ and evolved a lot, but its super peaceful to come into work and check on my plants and chili peppers

Allbirds, they're the most comfortable shoes ever. I have four pairs now. I suggest the Wool Runners to start, unless you live somewhere that is really hot, then the Tree Runners are best (I have 1 pair of wool runners, 2 tree runners and 1 pair of tree toppers).

They're made with merino wool insoles, you don't even wear socks (the shoes can go in the washing machine and the insoles can be replaced for $15). It makes me sad to have to wear other shoes for even a day at this point.

An Orient Watch, I picked it up on Amazon and was really happy with the quality of the watch. It just feels very solid, the clasp works perfectly and feels strong, and it looks nice. Probably the happiest I've been with an <$200 watch.

Im sure its beeen discussed in plenty but I bought a good bed for the first time in my life and its been well worth it.

Bought a tempur-pedic sense. Its not the top of the line or anything but it was a huge step up for me.

Still loving the Casper mattress.

No one should buy a non-SSD drive ever again.

Our Eve mattress is one of the best things we've ever bought. I was reluctant to spend a lot on a mattress but I have absolutely no regrets.

I've got a 12-cup Hamilton Beach coffeemaker arriving tonight from Amazon, my heart is already galloping in anticipation. And get this, it's red not black.

I bought my wife a Ninja Coffee Bar System (lol at the pretentious name) from Amazon for Christmas.

I have to admit, the Rich Coffee option provides quite a delicious cup of coffee. My wife says it's her favorite present she got this year.

I bought a Leesa mattress around this time last year after asking in this thread, very pleased with it - such an improvement over an old spring mattress. Quite firm, took a little while to get used to it.

I had a lot of fun taking a Phillips Hue color bulb set and placing them inside used IBC totes to create lights on top of a container I'm trying to convert into an outdoor gym or bar/seating thing:

I love this. My boss had it in his office and we played at Christmas time. Will be getting one!

These would be the two items I would list in the "What are the best items you gave your wife for Christmas the past two years?" thread.

She hasn't used the sous vide yet either, but we both are eagerly anticipating the occasion.

If my wife had done that, my Christmas shopping would have been more challenging. She was tickled to death to get each. She is firing up the Instant Pot right now, and we just finished ordering the other items for the sous vide setup from Amazon. She had never heard of sous vide until she opened her gift.
