Suppose you only had an index finger on each hand. And you have one thumb as a bonus perhap. How would you go about learning to touch type on a keyboard?

You most likely are looking at the keyboard when you type with two index fingers. This idea is about typing WITHOUT looking at the keyboard.

I only use my pinky knuckles and type like 30% of my sentences without looking at the keyboard though obviously it's harder/less accurate cos you need to move from your shoulder and elbow joints a lot more than you do using fingers.

Ctrl alt delete is the worst. Keyboard shortcuts for commonly used functions should only need two keys.
