so i've been on a bit of a drug binge lately, having just tried shrooms and e. Now i'm curious about salvia. Have you tried it? did you like it? can you describe it to me? should i do it w/ a friend or alone? and what potency should i use my first time?

I've done it a few times, got really high once and could never replicate it the other times. I've heard that it needs to burn at really high heat, and so you need to light it with a torch. I think the kind I had was like 10x or 13x (concentrated).

The time I did got high I got REALLY high, fwiw.

do it with a friend so you don't do something stupid or freak out and cut your face off.

you can experience visuals - i was at long island walking on the beach and outta nowhere my friend and i ran like a mile down the beach at 2am, then im like **** so we start walking back and seaplant stuff starts popping out of the sand. given there was some, but not to the extent that i was seeing. the visuals are not like shrooms(more gradual onset than acid, and thru my experience not as intense ), acid 2ci(being euphoric and having a mix of acid/e effect) or e (e being more trailing oriented)

smoke it in a bong, milk the chamber, hold it as long as u can.

it felt like a metal rod had gone through my body or some argue your chakras align or whatever energy nonsense that is, which could be partially true. but basically i felt like i couldnt move or turn my body while my vision was still appearing to be turning? idno. but obviously i eventually moved.
i've done it a few times, i don't think i smoked weed the time i'm referencing.
you can mix it, however it isn't exactly the most recreational of drugs.

but in general when it comes to tripping/salvia i'd do it with someone whose energy u don't clash with/get good vibes from. obviously thats everyone on E, not so much on other ****.

the 20x we had an 8th bc my friends friend didnt want it...i dont really remember it, it was weed + salvia
does seem to 'enhance' your high, or kick it up a notch

salvia is gay. just feels like you're spinning around and the trip is usually unpleasant. if available, look into dmt. best psychedelic ever.

If you get stronger stuff and hit it out of a nice bong rather than a joint it can be really awesome, I had a great 20 min trip one of the best ever. It's generally pretty weak, and I do have a better time on shrooms. All things considered, it's worth a try but do it right.

I once heard of a guy who took salvia while peaking on acid and swore that he lived out hundreds of years as the wheel on a boat.

I'd def say its worth trying but its something totally different than anything else you've ever tried. like soooo different.

i think there must be some inherent resistance to salvia in some people, because i've tried **** online from a couple of different sites, and stuff from 2 diff headshops in town, anywhere from 10x-50x out of pipe and then bong, and really didn't feel much on any of them. when i did the 50x out of a bong i felt pretty giddy and colors were more vivid for a few minutes, but that's about the extent to which ive successfully tripped salvia. i've heard outrageous stories about it though, probably worth trying

also i read an article about salvia a couple months ago, basically said salvia use in the past 10 years has gone up 1000x or something ridiculous, and that it's becoming mainstream enough now to where there's a strong possibility the government looks into banning it in the next 5 years or so. so get your fix while you can

I did it once. I was in a hotel room, laid on the bed and thought I was flying through the air for about 10 minutes. Also, everything I touched had a texture I had never felt before and thought it was awesome. My three other friends were all geeking out after they smoked, but none of them tripped. It was a good time, but doesn't last too long.


I am pretty sure it was 10x.

i tried it once after a friend said it was the most massive trip he had ever experienced. i smoked it from a bubbler, and didn't feel any effects whatsoever. that was about 5 years ago.

i've done cid and shrooms in the past, and have had some massive trips while on those (mind altering, was definitely catatonic a few times, even had a few days where friends were suprised to see me next day cuz they thought i would be dead, which is a surreal conversation to have over and over again in the same day). also have had bad trips on cid (never on blotter, couple times on tabs, and once with liquid). it is a drug that you really really have to have a positive mindset for. all of that was about 12 years ago.

I've been around a few blocks a few times. Salvia is probably one of the least enjoyable trips. Most people basically lose all control of their minds for a short time. Sometimes it's ecstatic, sometimes it's terrifying, usually most of it is lost to a blackout.
