What apps are worthwhile to have and why?

I like the ones where everyone takes the quiz to find out what kind of car/80's icon/color/marsupial/greek demigod they are. The more quizes you take the cooler you are imo.

I don't know what kind of things you're looking for, but they're mostly loaded with junk. The poker application is terrible. All I have is Dolphin Olympics 2 because I can't get enough of that game. They're mostly just quizzes afaik.

all the 'crazy' stuff is pretty terrible.

i played that jetman game for a while. fun.

i have an arrested development app which displays a quote on my page but i think that has broken now.

big profile picture and youtube box are decent.

I'm eagerly awaiting the day FB lets you filter your news feed to remove quizzes your friends have taken -- so annoying.

Only apps worth using are

- Word games you like (Scrabble, Text Twist)
- Fliff (easy way to share expenses and carry outstanding debt with roommates or poker friends so you don't always have to square up or keep track yourself)

I have an XBox one that links to my account. I originally did it hoping that people that I know that play XBox will see my name and then add me as a friend on XBox where I have very few. It's been a complete fail in this regard.

As for ones that I actually use, well there are none. There is a juggling game that I like but rarely play now, scrabulous sucks now that they got sued, word twist is fun but all my friends are terrible. TBH, I can't think of a single app that I frequently use.

I use NetworkedBlogs to promote Driveline Mechanics, but all the other apps have been huge fails. I hide everyone who posts a single quiz and defriend anyone who mass-messages people.

I click "hide all from this app" whenever I see a quiz religiously and it doesn't matter as people keep coming up with horrible quizzes and people keep taking them. At least people stopped posting those "20 things about you" surveys.

When I made this same thread I got an infraction for it, and mine had more content in the OP.

The only apps I use are games: lately that's been Mafia Wars, Bejeweled Blitz, and Farkle.

I whole-heartedly agree with Dibs here even though we had a quarrel earlier. I've literally de-friended 10-15 people the past 3 months because they were habitual app users/senders/piss-you-off'ers.
