WHY would you tip for take-out at ALL since it's the SAME(or even less work) ****ING JOB as McDonald's, huh? Handing you a bag and ringing you up somehow is more different than McDonald's, then WHY should the McDonald's cashier not get to earn a tip, huh? Make TIPPING *****FAIR********! I don't tip for any take-out orders. Especially if you call in the order, you aren't even there to receive service. Ringing you up, giving you change or your credit card receipt with handing you a bag is certainly the same thing as a grocery store even and they don't make tips. WHY not be *FAIR* when you tip? I am. I make sure I don't tip for a take-out order.
McDonald's cashiers do a lot more for their customers like make shakes, make iced coffees, fill my cup with special sauce(for the big mac), fill my cup with tartar sauce, for hotcakes and sausage they get a fork in one box, a knife in another box, a couple of butters and syrups(which at for example Applebee's, they have an ALL-IN-ONE Cuttlery set including salt n pepper packets even(napking fork knife). The Applebee's bartender for a to-go order did MUCH LESS WORK or THE SAME AMOUNT OF WORK than the McDonald's cashier I GUARANTEE you that. If we can't tip McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King, etc. WHY is it **FAIR** to tip for the SAME TYPE OF SERVICE to someone else, huh? What they make per hour is IRRELEVANT since the service is exactly the same or even service even than McDonald's.
