Same, but I pronounced it "THEE-uh-SORE-iss". I also seem to recall many youngsters adding an extra syllable somewhere, so I don't think you and I are alone.

It's normal to poo while wearing whatever you are currently wearing. If you have to poo, go poo, don't go through any kind of wardrobe change as I don't see the benefit.

Standard. It just sounds funnier that way.

Nope, first language. I was reading early and talking late, but this is the only word I know of that I pronounce incorrectly. Like I said, probably a function of the facts that the two ways to pronounce it are very similar, and the way I pronounce it is the way it looks like it should be pronounced.

Re: Things you thought were normal... till that fateful, maybe embarrassing, day
That's because any decent chili recipe would already include the peanut butter.

haha, I'd totally forgotten about it, but I'm pretty sure I did this too at first. Or maybe one of my siblings? Someone definitely did, and I feel like it was probably me.
Pretty sure it was phb's pronunciation, although nutz's might be the same anyway.

I never thought peanut butter was an ingredient in chili until this fateful today.

Re: Things you thought were normal... till that fateful, maybe embarrassing, day
When I was in primary school, my dad used to get up first every morning, mum would sleep in a little bit.
One day I told the teacher (quite innocently), "Daddy beats Mummy up every morning"
Apparently they got in a bit of trouble

That's pretty good
When I drink from a glass, I hold the glass normally with thumb and first three fingers, but curl my little finger under the bottom of the glass so it doesn't slip out
Apparently this isn't normal

If we get to talk about other people too:
My brother thought the lyric to Jimi Hendrix's Castles Made of Sand
"And so castles made of sand fall in the sea, eventually"
was
"And so castles made of sand fall in the sea, even Julie"

Re: Things you thought were normal... till that fateful, maybe embarrassing, day
When I was younger we often went around to my nana's house, and mum and all the aunties etc. would sit around yacking about crap all day.
Pretty boring as a kid so I would read magazines from the stacks of womens magazines there.
One time, when I would have been about 9 or 10 , after having trouble understanding one of the reader letters in the 'your doctor' section, I went into the lounge and asked everyone: "Mummy, what's an orgasm?"
Of course there was much laughing and red-facedness, and she defused the situation by saying she'd explain later. When we got home later, she said (this is kind of a beat actually):

That's the problem with ORgasms. With a more sensitive partner she could have experienced ANDgasms.

I play this game called Tibia... dont judge..,
anyway, ultimate healing runes where abbreviated UHS (uhs)...
I always pronounced them "You Uhhs" to myself, so when I met some friends from Tibia in real life...
Well you can figure out the rest

Re: Things you thought were normal... till that fateful, maybe embarrassing, day
i have an asian mom so she used to call grilled cheese sandwiches "glue" cheese sandwiches because they stick together like glue after u grill them.
so i used to think it was glue cheese sandwich until i asked for it at a friends house in my childhood years.
i also thought lactose intolerant was "lack toast and tolerant" and always wondered what did toast have to do with milk?
