I realize this is a thread about needless hate, but you're going to have to explain this one.

Whoever said chewing food is on the mark. Especially when you have to over hear someone with a big jaw doing it.

Another thing that makes me mad is at four way stops when you're like a block away and some guy is sitting at his side of the upcoming stop sign waiting to see if you come to a complete stop. It's ridiculous, if they just took a small pathetic risk and went then they would be across by the time I get there, but instead they just sit passively. Scared to death at the idea that everyone approaching a stop sign could be some maniac who flies through it in middle of the day while clearly slowing down from 50km/h. Next time this is about to happen I'm going to slow down to 10km/h from half a block away and see if they wait. If they do, I will lose my ****.

i think it's a waste of time and life...some people just take it way too seriously. a little bit here and there is fine, but moderation is thrown to the wind so often with it

I agree. Following a TV show that's on for at most 1 hour a week is a total waste of time. Think about what they could be doing with that hour. Waste of life.

For me, chewing food pisses me off more the closer (relationship-wise) I am to the person. So it is worse listening to immediate family and close friends eat food fairly normally than it is to overhear some random guy chomp and slurp excessively at a cafe. I think this is because I could, in theory, say something to friends and family about how ****ing annoying they are, but with strangers I am completely powerless.

A good example of this is at the movies. Barring excessive bull**** like popping open multiple cans of Coke, I am okay with sitting in a packed theater next to strangers who are eating stuff. But I won't ever go to the movies with friends who buy popcorn or candy.
