Someone point out if im wrong, but were I live, Coke and Sprite are the #1 and #2 sodas. I believe its the same up and down the east coast.

In Minn, Wisc., Pepsi and Mt Dew are #1 and #2

Has anyone else noticed this?

Uhh, has this ever happened? I'm sure sometimes the announcer gets cutoff due to action and they can't complete their sentence, but can't say I've ever heard something similar to what you're describing in the 1000s of hours of sports watching I've done.
