When we designed our house we put in extra wide doors and ramps throughout the downstairs.. planning on being wheelchair bound late in life. The laundry chute from upstairs down to the utility room can also be expanded with a wheelchair lift someday if needed. Doesn't hurt to plan ahead if you're really serious about retiring/dying in a house someday.

I was also surprised by Real Housewives of Atlanta when the wife of Eric Snow hired someone to coordinate the house help. I figured that the one task of the stay at home millionaire wife was to coordinate the governess, nannies, chefs, etc. but I guess she doesn't even have to do that.


I'm not too impressed with all this though. I slept until noon, went for a swim in my indoor pool, took a nap, ate an entire chicken pot pie, drank a bottle of wine, and am now playing PS3 on my 50 inch plasma. And I don't even have a job. Doing the bull dance, feeling the flow. Working it. Working it.

Someone posted about having engineers create paintball versions of all the NS64 Goldeneye guns and life-sized versions of all the levels. Not RL, obviously, but I haven't been able to stop thinking about it.
