Anybody know whats the average use of data for home internet? I was on the comcast website today to pay my bill and decide to look at my data usage and for the like the last 7 months my usage has been kind of ridiculous. So ridiculous that i don't even see how its possible.

I have the Xfinity Blast package of 200/10 speeds
Household of 6people 4 laptop/pcs 4 streaming players. 6 cellphones.

Dec 2016 - 2268gb
Jan 2017 - 1838gb
Feb 2017 - 1679gb
Mar 2017 - 2169gb
Apr 2017 - 1818gb
May 2017 - 1684gb
Jun 2017 - 880gb so far

I know i use alot of data but isn't this just a little ridiculous. All 6 people are gone from anywhere 8-12hrs a day either for school or work related reasons.
Even during my torrenting days last year i didn't even get over 300gb a month. I don't do it much anymore as much as i use to. But is something wrong with Comcast or do is this normal?

if 6 people are streaming 1080p stuff on a daily basis that's easily doable

Just looked at mine and i'm 500gb for the last 30 days.

No.

You're averaging about 1850gb/month. Just over 300gb per person.

That's not ridiculous, especially if people enjoy streaming high quality video.

Throw in a 4k TV (just one) and stream 4k content (Netflix, Amazon) and you'll blow right on by 2TBs a month easily.
