Just curious, whenever my wife and I go out to eat (anywhere...be it fast food or sit down) we always get water. I refuse to pay $2+ for non healthy sodas. BTW, she can order what she wants, she just choose water 95% of the time. Is this cheap, and we always tip 18%.

Four of us went to the Wynn Lunch buffet, we left a 5 and the other couple left a 5. Later he said we stiffed the server on a tip. I beg the differ...thoughts??

No, that is not cheap, and you should choose water because it is so much better for you. That said, I recommend tipping an extra $1-2 per water you order. I usually tip $1 for each water I drink, which is usually 2-3 glasses, so an extra $2-3 in addition to what my usual tip would be based on the bill/service.

for your Wynn Lunch I have no idea, need more details. What did you order, what did they order? How much was each bill? Was this a buffet where you pretty much help yourself or were you being served?

$5 is a solid tip for 2 at a lunch buffet. Tipping 18-20% at buffet is LOL overtipping.

Just think of it as paying someone $5 to deliver Tums to you, when and where you need them. From that perspective it's a bargain. You maybe find yourself loosening up all over your life with this new perspective.

one time we went to a wedding party..for some reason my wife's sister's boyfriend decided to bring about 6 of his homies that we didn't know was coming. they weren't even invited so we had to accommodate them since they came before actual real guests.. this was slightly annoying but whatever. as long as they chip in since at our wedding partys, everyone always hands the bride or groom an envelope.

these guys are mostly in their 20's so they ate like animals. very annoyed.. we made sure this fool gave up an envelope.. we asked him and he replied.. "yes"

sure enough.. few days later.. we figured out he never gave an envelope

everyone was tilted as ****.. this guy brings a bunch of clowns had a huge buffet practically and didn't drop a single dime.. he wanted to look good in front of his friends

My uncle used to charge me for food at his house. The A**hole wouldn't even split a case of pop with me if I only had enough for half. Instead he would buy the case at 4.99 and charge me 50 cents per pop.

he went to buy a belt from a street vendor on canal street
they were 3 dollars each or 2 for 5

he spent a half an hour arguing with the guy that he only wanted one and it should be 2.50
the guy got sick of him and finally he agreed
my brother then paid with a hundred and got at least 50 dollars back in single which made my day

a part on his car broke and he went to the junkyards by shea stadium to get a new one
they wanted 150 dollars for the part and he thought it should be 50

so at night he went back to steal it
he even brought some meat in case there were dogs
the junkyard is outside and the floor is all dirt
he crawls under the fence like a wild dog
almost on cue it starts pouring
so this cheap basterd is searching with a flashligh on the car for the part he needs, has to crawl under the car to take it off, which takes a good ten minutes
by the time hes done he is covered in mud and there is a human divit in the mud where he was

if its outside and dirt, it has ceased to be a floor. it is now the ground.

We get there at like 10pm or something and he makes me wait and wait.. I don't know why.. if someone invites you for a stake you don't make him wait that long.. so at 3am he finally decides to stake me $100 at commerce casino. I'm like finally and **** you you ****ing nit.. I'm really ****ing pissed to hell he made me wait that long...

in 7 hours i managed to make plus $500.. I was running really hot and the table was real fishy.. I made a value bet on the river with 1 pair and 2 others called in a 300 dollar pot!! the balls!!

anyways.. so i decided to tell him I only made $200 instead of $500. the next morning.. we're still there.. I decide to play a $120 satallite.. winner gets about $1000k. I run like hot getting KK 3 different times.. getting paid every time and win the damn thing.

so I went from $0 to having about $1400 in less than 16 hours so I felt pretty damn good..so I pay him back his $100.. buy a round of drinks.. buy dinner.. give him half of my 8th of bomb weed. pretty fairly paid back I think? right?

after all that we get home and he demands another $100. I am shocked.. I'm like wtf? we're buddies and he wants 100% return?!! I'm like **** you.. go suck a dick.. I'm a good player that's why I made all that loot.

he gets really really angry.. and calls me cheap and greedy etc etc.. we get into a big fight and start yelling.. blah blah...he says.. "tonight I lost $200 and if you would just cover half of my losts I would feel that much better.. can you do that?" I'm like **** you .. "not my problem that you can't take a $200 hit"
