Who is stingier, me for trying to snag two hoagies instead of one? The employer, for not paying the full claim regardless of number of sandwiches? Or subway, for running that damn 5$ footlong special?

What is my play this year?

How can I out stinge them??
Pics are actually quite relevant. If she is a fatty, then I would make the arguement that two footlongs is a meal, who's going to question a fatty? If she's skinny, just start splitting the footlong.

Lol, I'm gonna reply to your post because it gave me a chuckle

Both the company and you have a case for their position, and the other side also has a case for the other being stingy. It all comes down to a matter of leverage. Does her company owe her for being an excellent employee producing value above what she's been compensated, or does she owe the company for producing less value than what she's been compensated? Whoever owes the other has the obligation to back off and concede the argument.

wow, that is amazingly sting on her employer's part. she should be entitled to use 100% of her allowance on any meal she wants. i'd be surprised if the company has any legal leg to stand on, but even if they do it's ridiculous that they would police it.

if they refuse to pay she should just go to the most expensive place she can find and spend the whole ten dollars on coffee and a breadstick, just to spite them.

is is a $10 allowance or a $10 max reimbursement? if the former you are right, if the later it's much more of a grey area.

most places have laws regarding abandoned funds. they would do whatever the law is in their jurisdiction. in some places it would be turned over to a government agency which would either hold it in perpetuity in case there is a claim or it would become government property after a certain number of years.

I know for a fact that pokerstars will cash out a dead person's funds for you if you show them the death certificate and stuff

A somewhat reasonable excuse can be that your girlfriend doesn't eat the bread, so gets 2 subs and eats the fillings.

Now you have to get get a bunch of videos of her doing that and post them on youtube.

She's a noob for submitting an itemized receipt. She should pay with a credit card and just submit the credit card receipt.

They actually require that it be an itemized receipt.

She is skinny, but who is to say skinny girls cant eat two sandwiches? What do you think they would do if she just got a two foot hoagie instead of two footlongs?? Im thinking that might be my move.

Villain,

I'm afraid we're really going to need to see pics of your girlfriend eating a footlong ITT.

Also, going forward, get a single footlong but load it up with double or triple meat, then split it.

Give the subway employee a $1.25 kickback to ring it in as a single 24" sub.

Subway isn't that good. Learn how to cook and stop scamming.

Yeah O Fenômeno is clearly right. Your gf should obviously take the 10 dollar allowance to the grocery store, and cook something while she is at work.

you shut your goddamn mouth.

also my argument against employer would be something like if she got a $10 meal and took home left-overs would they demand she only be reimbursed for the food she actually ate at lunch?

She is not allowed to spent it on groceries, the point of the of the food allowance is that she worked too long to make food. for example, she cant buy ten cans of soup for ten bucks, or a loaf of bread and pb and j, or even a lb of ground beef. I totally agree, subway or fast food is not great and eating at home is much better/healthier. With that said, I think doubling the meat is a good idea, so is offering the kickback

If no one ever contacts the poker site, then the money will sit dormant. Some sites take an "admin fee" after a period of inactivity, eventually taking all the money. Others leave the money there permanently.

If family/executor contacts the site to advise them of the death, they'll arrange for the money to be sent back to the player's estate.

I drive an extra few miles to save $1 on candy. After typing this I realize that those miles cost me $.80 in gas.

I've only done this twice.
