What did you think about Alex Goddard from that article?

The grand jury regarding the adults (read: coach) reconvenes on Monday:

STEUBENVILLE, Ohio -- An eastern Ohio grand jury is taking another break in its
investigation into whether more laws were broken in the rape of a 16-year-old girl.

Ohio Attorney General's office spokesman Dan Tierney said Wednesday the panel has
suspended work until Aug. 12 after meeting the first two days of this week.

One of the key issues before the panel meeting in Steubenville is whether adults who
are required to report crimes knew early on of the rape last August but didn't say
anything.

A judge in March convicted two high school football players of raping the West Virginia
girl after an alcohol-fueled party last summer.

Attorney General Mike DeWine has said nothing is off the table for the grand jury.

Yeah, I read that too. Seemed slanted and i didn't think it was all that interesting. So Goddard the Blogger is a blowhard dingus... Other than Levy' s subjective insight into her and other tertiary figures character, there wasn't much meat added to the story.

Rumors regarding grand jury are scary. I guess we will find out soon enough what is true. But the talk is that no "corruption" indictments are coming. Rather, a lot of lying minors being indicted for various misdemeanors. Also reported that the investigation has cost upwards of $5 million so far.

Seems like government at its worst what the AG is doing. All threats of charging people in hopes they "rat" on someone. Their problem seems to be that their targets are innocent. That's the summary of the talk. I have no clue what's true as to the grand jury.

I can't imagine what is taking so long, but I fear a political cluster for all involved.

Seems that the head coach will not be indicted for anything. But again, we should all know more by this time next week.

Fwiw. If anyone goes back and looks at the original post with local leaks link, you will see that its far from the truth. In 47 states what happened isn't rape, its a lesser form of sexual assault. Not nearly as gruesome of a crime as reported.

Probably not actually deservedly so. They raped a girl. It's horrible what they did. But the lies and harm done to the community are also horrible. I've never defended the rapists
